I am still baffled by the fact that DeviantArt, probably one of the most well know art websites, is openly supporting AI art AND EVEN ENCOURAGING IT BY HANDING PEOPLE AN AI ART GENERATOR. And don´t get me wrong, I think that using AI for reference isn´t all that bad, but the problem comes when people use it directly as if it were their own art, which unluckily is what happens when people use this tool. AI art isn´t genuine art, it might look beautiful, but deep down it´s lifeless, artificial. I think it´s a real shame that this website has fallen this low over the years, to be honest it all began to change when the Eclipse update came around, but now it has gotten to a point in which it doesn´t seem that worth it to post here anymore. Deviantart was the first website I got into as soon as I could because I remember being younger and thinking "Wow there is a lot of cool art and artists here, I hope I can join and be like them when I grow up!" I know I haven´t been the most active
